(Alright, first chapter. Other one was just the prologue. Have fun reading!)
I was sick of this stupid, large, gray trail thing. I had been walking for hours and now my feet hurt. I growled, swishing my tail. The city the voice told me about had to be close by now, and if not, I'd scream my head off and pull my hair out.
"Easy, child." crooned the voice.
"Oh shut up, I'm not a five year old." I hissed.
"Well, you're certainly acting like it." it chuckled.
I hissed, deciding to ignore it for now. Soon, we reached the large city. I rejoiced, running into the strange city on all fours like a normal Xenomorph would. But, I slowed down once I got inside... Where was everyone? I stared at the walls, littered with random pictures and writing. I turned the next corner and stared, horrified.
A man was slumped down, crows pecking at his corpse. He was long dead, and.... Everywhere. I stared in horror, who or what could of down something like this? I haven't even seen Xenomorphs attack someone this bad and they were pretty bad. I shooed the birds, looking down at him to see that he died of extremely brutal wounds on his stomach and chest. felt uneasy, deciding to hurry past the corpse.
"... What do you think could of done that?" I asked the voice, him being (when did I start calling it him?) my only companion.
"Child, I haven't seen anything like this before. Whatever it was, we should try to stay clear of it." said the voice, actually sounding a bit uneasy and curious.
"No kidding, alright, we're going further North." I said, heading in that direction.
I hummed quietly until I heard somebody... Talking? I went into a large, wide building and followed the voice until I came across three people at the other end of the hall. I stared around the corner, one was pretty tall, one was regular sized, and one was hunched over and pretty small. I listened in, curious.
"So you're saying you saw another survivor, Jimmy?" asked the tallest.
"Yes, yes! Saw her walking down street, talking to herself! Maybe she crazy, like Jimmy!" cackled the smallest.
"Bro, I can promise you there's nobody who's as crazy as you." said the regular sized one.
The smallest was bend severely over, a full head of wild, bright red hair and insane, blue eyes. He had a psychotic grin plastered on his face, brown tank top and red shorts covered in blood. I noticed his mouth, hands, feet, fingernails, and toenails were coated with dirt, mud, blood, and other such things. The tallest was certainly strange in his own way his right eye was covered in sick, green, large tumors, going down his arm with a large tongue rolling out of his mouth, going to his knees. His left eye was green, deep, deep, filthy, brown hair covering his head He coughed, green smoke coming out of his mouth. I was pretty interested, so I stared.
"Well, we'll find her and eat her or somethin'." yawned the regular sized one, catching my attention.
He had a dark purple hoodie covering his eyes, black strands of hair barely hanging out from under his hoodie. He was a pale greyish blue, large claws sticking out sticking out of his hands. the front of his hoodie and by his hands were coated in dried blood, other filth all over him as well. Black duct tape were on his arms, and on his black skinny jeans as well.
"Lucas, we still have to be careful." said the tallest.
"Max, you're just paranoid." hissed the regular sized one.
"... Guys, Jimmy smell something." said 'Jimmy', sniffing about.
I paled, hiding against the wall.
"Like what?" asked 'Max' turning to him.
"Maybe it's just you." laughed 'Lucas'.
"... No, I smell it too." said Max, sniffing in my direction.
Lucas suddenly crawled on all fours, sniffing at me and getting closer.
"Run, child!" yelled the voice.
I spun around, running as fast as I could up some stairs. I tore up and up, suddenly hearing mad cackling from behind. I took a left down a hall, screaming as I shoved another person out of the way, cackling getting closer and closer. I quickly looked, upstairs or downstairs. I ran downstairs, not wanting to face anyone on the roof. I got to a large basement, which was quite bare. I suddenly was jumped upon by something, cackling right in my ear.
"GET OFF! GEEEETTTTT OFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed, tearing at the thing on my head.
I finally tore it off with my purple hand, leaving behind a nasty scratch. Finally, Max and Lucas arrived, seeing what I did to their friend.
"Jimmy!" yelled Max, holding the small freak.
"KEEP HIM AWAY! ALL OF YOU GET AWAY!" I screamed, lashing my tail.
"... There is NO way a normal person could do that." said Lucas, shocked.
"Look, we thought you were human.... But WHAT are you?!" asked Max.
"... Okay.... You're friend scared me and I lashed out. If you guys don't attack things that aren't people like you say, I can promise you I'm not completely human. Yes, I'm part human, BUT, I'm not here to hurt anyone. I just got out from a facility, and this was the closest city." I promised.
"... As long as you help Jimmy and you don't attack us, we'll help you out of this place, trust me, there's nothing here for you." said Max.
"Fair enough." I said, going up the stairs with them to find something to help their friend.
