(I think I'm going to name Cheryl's deep purple Symbiote Hate. If you have a better name, let me know. But anyways, here's chapter three! Guh, I think this one was kinda sucky, but oh well.)
I looked around the area, searching for something to help with Jimmy's bleeding.
"I could just kill them all." said the voice.
"That's not nice, ... You don't have a name even. I just kind of referred to you as 'the voice' (now Cheryl, only Deadpool is allowed to break the forth wall!) honestly." I said quietly.
"Do we need one?" asked the voice.
"I'd be better than just 'the voice'." I said.
"Well, we'll leave you to that." said the voice.
"How about George?" I laughed.
Just then, a tendril from my purple arm came out, slapping the back of my head.
"..... What the heck is that?" asked Lucas.
"A 'friend'." I growled, rubbing my aching head.
"Weird 'friend'." said Max.
"What about Scorn?" I asked the voice.
"Taken." said the voice.
"Taken and stupid especially."
"Taken and a female's name."
"Erm, just a bit shorter."
"Not taken and fitting, I like it."
"Hate it is, I guess."
"Hey girlie! How about you stop talking to yourself and keep looking!" yelled Lucas.
My mouth opened by itself, forming words I wouldn't say and in Hate's voice,
"DON'T CALL HER THAT, YOU DISRESPECTFUL, IDIOTIC CHILD!"
Everyone stared, silent. I gaped, hands covering my mouth.
"Hate, what the heck?!" I thought.
"Sorry." sighed Hate.
"You could just do that, whenever you wanted?!" I thought, a little freaked.
"Of course, you're bonded with us, after all." said Hate.
"Oh...... Kay?" I thought.
I finally found a red and white box, a red plus on it. I figured this would help, since I've seen people at the facility use something similar after they've received injuries. I went back over to the group, gently kneeling next to Jimmy. I looked at his nasty scratch along his hip and leg, wrapping white strips around the scratch as I've seen other humans do.
"Child, that will get infected if you don't clean it." said Hate.
"Oh." I thought, unwrapping the bandages.
"Take that bottle to your left, and the cloth. Warn him, it will sting him." said Hate.
"Okay, Jimmy, this is going to sting, so get ready." I said gently.
He whimpered, turning his head away. I poured the stuff on, making the wounds bubble a bit and Jimmy howl madly. Max and Lucas tensed, but I kept going. I assumed I had to dab it now, so I grabbed the cloth, dabbing it on the wounds and getting the stuff off. Jimmy whimpered, grabbing at my sleeves. I felt horrible, so I gently stroked his head as I wrapped the white strips around his wound again.
"There, now be careful while you walk on that." I warned.
The small creature hugged my leg, purring. I stared, unsure what to do about it.
"Um.... You're welcome....." I said awkwardly, patting his head.
"What your name?" he asked, looking up like a lost puppy.
"Cheryl...." I said.
"Pretty! Mine JIMMY!" he yelled excitedly, throwing his arms in the air.
"So I've heard." I said.
"That Lucas, and that MAX!" he chirped, pointing at the two other men.
"Well now that introductions are outta the way, I suggest we get out of here, I smell a tank." said Lucas.
"I can't smell a tank." said Max.
"Probably because you're always surrounded in that friggn' nasty smoke!" yelled Lucas.
"No, Jimmy smell it too." said Jimmy, randomly taking my hand and tugging on it.
"Come on, Cheryl, Tank mean! Gotta go!" he ushered.
"Alright, let's go.... I guess." I said.
He tugged me around and around, finally we stopped at a large building. I stared, 'Wal-Mart?' What the heck kinda name is that?!
"WAL-MART! YAY!" said Jimmy, shoving the doors open and running in.
"He loves this place WAY too much." said Lucas, shoving the doors open for him and Max.
I calmly walked in, seeing Jimmy with a load of blankets. He ran up to me, smiling.
"Jimmy make you bed right next to his! Jimmy protect new friend!" he chirped.
I laughed a little, he was pretty cute sometimes. Not the hot cute, just like, "Oh my god you're so adorable leg me hug you!" Kind of cute. He spread the pile of blankets next to a filthy, grey one, going as far as to fluff them up and surround them with poofy pillows. Lucas hopped onto a purple blanket, curling up much like a dog. Max laid on a orange one, staring up at the ceiling.
"We get moving in the morning, try to get you to some other people or a safe room." said Lucas.
"Fair enough." I yawned.
"Good night Max, Lukey, Cheryl!" chirped Jimmy, snuggling up on the grey blanket.
I fell asleep, waking up in a dream. It was a red room, purple goo stranded to walls, on the floor, and forming webs above. At the other end sat a man, almost. He was deep purple, extremely muscled, and he had large, swirled, white eyes that he used to stare at me. He spoke, and I saw the goo around his mouth split, revealing large fangs with a gruesome smile.
"Hello, child." he spoke.
"....Hate?" I asked.
"Yes?" he answered, smiling.
"Where.... Where am I?" I asked.
"Your mind, where we mostly reside." he said, playing with a strand of purple goo in between his fingers.
"Oh... Aren't you lonely?" I asked.
"We have you. Without you, we would of been alone and trapped." he breathed, smiling.
"Oh, good thing I found you." I smiled.
"Very." he grinned.
He stood up, walking to me.
"Child, your 'friends', do you want to stay with them or should we all escape?" he asked.
"I like them. I actually think I'll just stick with them." I shrugged.
"Very well. Now, sleep.... There is a long road ahead, I can tell." he said gently, shutting my eyes.
I slept, until the next day.
